The Medieval Wooden Castle

Hear ye, hear ye, gentle ladies and knights! We invite you to feast in our medieval city at William the Conqueror's castle. Immerse yourselves in the time of princesses and knights (costumes available for children), enjoy breakfasts served on medieval tableware, and participate in medieval games and entertainment. For horse lovers or those who dream of setting off on a journey...on holiday with your horse or donkey, the window overlooks the open stall and you live right next door.

The castle is on the principle of a bed and breakfast with 2 bedrooms included for 5 people, it is rented by the night and you have sheets and cleaning included.

We are happy to welcome you to our eco-friendly and medieval campsite

Our equestrian center with our eco-responsible campsite and our unusual accommodations are located in a typical village of the Cotentin at the crossroads of the greenways (prohibited to vehicles which go from North to South and from West to East of the Channel).

You must leave it tidy like a good mother would; animals are not allowed on the beds and sofas.

You have access to the hostel shared with the elves' cabin, with a professional kitchen and dishes, and a lounge with reindeer hides.the king's room, and a sanitary block with 3 showers, toilets, sinks, all free of charge.

You will need to bring your bath towels, washcloths, and dish towels.

Cleaning, sheets, cover, pillows or sleeping bags with sleeping sheets are included.

You must leave the accommodations, kitchen and sanitary block tidy, like a good mother would.

For your other meals, you have at your disposal the inn shared with the elves' cabin, with professional kitchen and dishes, reindeer hide lounge, the king's room, and a sanitary block with 3 showers, toilets, sinks, all free of charge.

Upon your arrival between 5pm and 7pm and your departure at 10am

We will welcome you with a coffee to explain how our eco-friendly campsite works and what you can see in our beautiful region, according to your preferences.

A deposit will be required upon arrival for any breakage or failure to comply with the rules posted at reception.

A €250 security deposit will be required upon arrival for costumes, storage, and any breakages.

Inventory of fixtures upon your arrival and departure

The hostel is open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM for borrowing board games and books.or discover our drinks kefir, kombucha, local beers, garden herbal tea with nettle crepes with chocolate, sugar or homemade jam, or ask us for information.

We have a cabinet where you will find various information for your excursions.

The outdoor play equipment (swings, climbing castle, slide, and spring rider) is open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, but only under parental supervision.
